The Fluidised Bed Combustion (FBC) and Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) group of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Tiruchirappalli organized a one‐day Vendor Meet bringing together about 30 vendors of BHEL selling nine different mechanical and electrical products like Heat Up Burner, Bunker Isolation Gate, Master Fuel Trip Valve, Blowers, Dosing System, VFD Control Panel & accessories, Air Lock Feeder, Bunker Load Cell, EWL Indicator non‐metallic expansion joints, transmitters, knight gate valves and flow nozzle and orifices.
Mr A V Krishnan, Executive Director, BHEL inaugurated the meet.
In his address, Mr Krishnan assured the audience that BHEL had established a transparent procurement procedure in which all eligible vendors were given equal opportunity to do business with BHEL. Mr Krishnan wanted all the vendors to equip themselves to meet the challenge of fulfilling the nation’s increased power demand in the next plan period.
