NTPC, Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR) and BHEL have signed a memorandum of understanding for indigenous development of next generation of super-critical technology. The development of this technology is meant to increase the power project`s efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. The technology will result close to 15-20% reduction in CO2 emission
