BHEL ED Dube administers productivity pledge to GMs

The BHEL Executive Director MK Dube today administered productivity pledge to all general managers and senior executives in a simple function held at Administrative Building conference hall. Later on, employees were administered productivity pledge by respective HoDs.
On this occasion Dube appealed to work with commitment for the progress of company and the nation. He further said that all the employees are contributing towards Business Excellence keeping in mind mission, vision and goal of the company. It is worth mentioning here that on August 29, 1956 present BHEL was registered as HE (India) Ltd and construction of the factory started in 1958. The very first batch of the trainees launched formal production on July 1: , 1960. After independence it was a major breakthrough in the modern temple of India. Since then this day is celebrated as Productivity Day in BHEL and employees take production pledge to mark this occasion.
