BHEL developing cutting-edge technologies

BHEL Tiruchi Complex, encompassing the High Pressure Boiler Plant and Seamless Steel Tube Plant in Tiruchi, Power Plant Piping Unit at Thirumayam and Piping Centre at Chennai, is in the process of arriving at the technology for conversion of coal to cleaner fuels such as methanol and ethanol alongside developing advanced ultra-supercritical (AUSC) boilers and products for the nuclear power sector. Rajamanohar, Executive Director, Tiruchi Complex, shared this information with a large gathering of employees and their families on Friday after unfurling the national flag BHEL Tiruchi has initiated efforts to install a 7.5 MW solar power plant in addition to the existing 5 MW solar power plant. Mr. Rajamanohar felicitated winners of BHEL Excel Awards, Shram Bhushan and Shram Shri awards for safety and quality.
