National Fire Service Day observed at BHEL, Trichi

The National Fire Service Day was observed at BHEL, Tiruchirappalli On Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, S Gopinath, executive director, BHEL, Tiruchirappalli said that the fire service personnel have contributed immensely to the development of the nation by saving human lives and properties. Gopinath also presented medals to the Security and Fire Service staff who had put in over 30 years of service. Prizes were also distributed to the winners of competitions held in connection with the National Fire Service Day. M Jayakumaran, general manager, Human Resources, BHEL Tiruchirappalli, presided over the function. S V Srinivasan, general manager, Outsourcing, offered felicitations. T Sekar, chief security officer, presented the annual report. Earlier, Major S Palanivelu, deputy chief security officer, welcomed the gathering.
