BHEL launches Hindi website

BHEL Tiruchi on Tuesday launched a dedicated website in Hindi to coincide with Rajbhasha Day celebrations. Launched by Executive Director A.V. Krishnan who is also Chairman, Official Language Implementation Committee, the website contains a public grievance and suggestion portal for general public. The prevailing business environment warrants employees to have working knowledge of Hindi to interact better with customers and other business partners, Mr. Krishnan said presiding over the Rajbhasha Day function. The chief guest, Manjula Renganathan, Divisional Railway Manager, Tiruchi, said while 400 languages were being spoken in India, 75 per cent of the population was at an advantage with Hindi.
