Bhel gains on forming a consortium for building submarines

BHEL rose 0.98% to Rs 257 at 12:25 IST on BSE after the company, Mishra Dhatu Nigam and Hindustan Shipyards have come together to form a consortium for building submarines indigenously. The company made announcement during market hours today, 30 December 2014. Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 26.82 points or -0.12% at 27,362.99. On BSE, so far 1.17 lakh shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 5.91 lakh shares in the past one quarter. The stock hit a high of Rs 258.90 and a low of Rs 254 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 291.50 on 26 May 2014.
