Two current and two former employees of BHEL, Tiruchi Unit, were honoured with BHEL Excel Award 2006-10, at a function in New Delhi earlier this month, for providing rewarding insights into properties of coal.
The recipients–R.Kumar, General Manager, Engineering; A Lawrence, Manager, Plant Lab; K.Nandakumar, Additional General Manager (Retired); and K.Narayanan, General Manager (Retired)-were honoured by S.Sundareshan, Secretary, Department of Heavy industry and Public Enterprises in the presence of B.Prasada Rao, CMD, BHEL, and other directors.
