BHEL bags 80 mw photovoltaic power plants

Bharat Heavy Electricals LtdBSE -2.34 % (BHEL) has bagged orders for setting up 80 mw of solar photovoltaic power plants on engineering, procurement and construction basis. The orders, valued at Rs 437 crore, have been placed by Neyveli Lignite Corporation LTdBSE -0.13 % (NLC) and Bharat Electronics LtdBSE 1.25 % (BEL). The solar photovoltaic plants are to be set up at Neyveli, Tamilnadu (65 mw), for NLC, and at the premises of Ordnance Factory Medak, Telangana (15 mw), for BEL.
