BHEL employees donate Rs. 1.63 cr. for flood relief

Employees of Bharath Heavy Electricals Limited, Tiruchi, and Tirumayam have donated their one-day salary towards flood relief for the people affected by recent floods in Tamil Nadu. A cheque for Rs. 1.63 crore was handed over to Chief Minister Jayalalithaa by S. Gopinath, Executive Director, BHEL, Tiruchi, on Thursday, according to a BHEL release. M. Jayakumaran, General Manager, Human Resources, BHEL, Tiruchi, was present.
