Tree plantation programme held in BHEL

Under the banner of Town Administration Department BHEL, Bhopal, a massive tree plantation programme was organised on Thursday at Shastri Market near Piplani. As many as 850 saplings were planted on Thursday; in total 1,200 saplings will be planted in the area. The saplings have been planted in a lot where 24 dilapidated quarters once stood. The land was leveled and made suitable for plantation. Shashi Ranjan Prasad, Executive Director, BHEL, Bhopal was the chief guest. Prasad appreciated the efforts of Town Administration Department. He said that the area should be named after Late former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri. He said a jogging track for should also be constructed in the park.
