BHEL commissions another hydro power unit at Rampur HEP in India

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has commissioned another hydro power unit of 68MW at the Rampur hydro electric project (HEP) in Himachal Pradesh, India. With this, the company has commissioned a total of five units at the 412MW hydro power plant of SJVN Limited. The company has commissioned earlier four units between March 2014 and June 2014 and have been been put into commercial operation. BHEL is likely to commission the sixth and last unit shortly and is in an advanced stage of execution.
