BHEL Q3 net profit likely to fall 4% at Rs 1,371 cr

Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) is going to declare its results for the quarter of financial year 2012-13 on Friday. Analysts on an average expect decline in earnings to continue in the quarter amidst a falling order backlog and paucity of incremental orders. Profit after tax is expected to go down by 4.3 percent year-on-year to Rs 1,371 crore in the December quarter, according to CNBC-TV18 poll. However, net sales are seen going up by 3 percent to Rs 10,862 crore from Rs 10,548 crore during the same period.
