BHEL close to bag Rs 1000cr contract; stock rises

Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) is close to bagging Rs 1000 crore locomotive manufacturing contract from Pakistan, reports Business Standard. It touched an intraday high of Rs 234.85 and an intraday low of Rs 231.15. t 10:51 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 234.20, up Rs 1.55, or 0.67%. It was trading with volumes of 154,947 shares. In the previous trading session, the share closed down 1.36% or Rs 3.20 at Rs 232.65. The share touched its 52-week high Rs 405.00 and 52-week low Rs 197.80 on 26 Jul, 2011 and 18 May, 2012, respectively. Currently, it is trading -42.17% below its 52-week high and 18.4% above its 52-week low.
