BHEL observes safety week

In a series of programmes organised for celebrating National Safety Week GD Verma, GM, HR, made employees aware on various issues related to safety in BHEL Bhopal. He was addressing a specific programme to celebrate National Safety Day. On this occasion Verma said that safe working environment is necessary for doing work with dedication and devotion. He appealed to all the employees and contract workers to strictly follow safety rules.
He said that if an accident occurs it will not be compensated by any means and the dependent of that employees also suffer for his fault. Therefore along with production awareness of safety rules is necessary. In this regard, a letter from GM, HR, BHEL Bhopal has been issued to contractors to provide necessary safety kit to their employees before deputing their employees to work.
Special arrangements has been made by safety Dept. to provide all necessary information related to safety and other difficulties that come during work.
On this occasion Executives of Safety Dept. demonstrated to the employees and contract workers, how to use safety instrument and also shared safety rules. It may be noted that in BHEL Bhopal all employees take pledge every year on this day to adhere to Safety rule. To follow safety rules is important especially in March as in this month production activities are at their peak. Safety week is arranged to make employees aware about safety rules.
