BHEL Bhopal gets Rs 700 crore order

BHEL bagged orders worth Rs 1,000 crore for manufacture of power equipments for Pakaldul Hydro Power Project of Chenab Valley Power Corporation Limited located in Jammu & Kashmir. BHEL Of this order Bhopal unit will be manufacturing and supplying equipment worth Rs 700 crore/ BHEL bagged order at competitive biddings that included global majors Samsung, Alstom among others. BHEL will for the first time be manufacturing 250MW generators. Company will supply 4X250MW Francis Turbine Generators with 400 meter net head and speed of 300 RPM according to an official statement. The project will be completed within a span of five years.
